Tasting Notes: This delightful Provence rosé comes from the Alpes de Hautes Provence region. Not surprisingly with the Alpes name, the vineyards are at a higher elevation than other Provence wines. The cooler climate enhances the freshness and minerality of the wine, whilst the being further inland leads to sunnier days – and hence the Soleil des Alpes name, which translates to “the sun of the Alps”.
This pale rosé has red berry aromas with hints of summer flowers. It is juicy and intense to taste with an attractive balance between soft berry fruit flavours, a touch of melon and refreshing minerality. This is a most enjoyable and eminently drinkable dry rosé.
Goes well with: Perfect as an aperitif
